Zeina AboLaban

Graduated cum laude from Columbia University with degrees in Mathematics-Statistics and Computer Science. Upon graduation, she has worked for, a leading Egyptian edtech startup, where she led the data & analytics function. She is currently working as a management consultant with Boston Consulting Group in Dubai.


Sherif Sharaf

Graduated from NIS in 2012. I moved to the US in 2013 to start my education in the aviation industry. As an Aviation enthusiast, I got accepted to start my Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical Science with a minor of Business in Aviation from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Throughout my degree, I got accepted in an astronaut program called Project Possum which provided training and research for suborbital flights in the Mesosphere. Also, I have obtained three Continuing Educational Units (CEUs) in Suborbital Missions Simulation. After receiving my bachelor’s degree and my licenses from Embry-Riddle, I worked as a flight instructor pilot for a year and half teaching a massive variety of students from all over the world to become pilots. Currently, I am an Airline Pilot (first officer) for Republic Airways that flies for American Airlines, Delta and United.


Farida el deeb

Aiming to be a well-known journalist as well as a TV host, I wish to leave a positive imprint on everyone ranging from children to senior adults. I graduated from NIS in 2017 and enrolled at The American University in Cairo. Four years later, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Journalism and a double minor in History and Psychology. My latest work includes delivering the graduation speech to represent the classes of Spring 2020, Fall 2020, and Spring 2021 during the Global Affairs and Public Policy (GAPP) Commencement at AUC in presence of distinguished faculty, graduates, parents, and guests. I currently work as an Account Executive at POD, Point of Differentiation, an integrated communications agency that specializes in PR, marketing, and event management in the Middle East. POD is part of UMS Group, the largest media conglomerate in the MENA region.


Noureen Farnawany

Graduate of the class of 2019. Currently studying Global Studies and Business Management at Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, while also interning at a local nonprofit providing educational vacation programs for under-resourced, urban children. Passionate about social justice issues and education. Has the big dream of opening her own school someday. Loves to travel, read and eat ice cream!
