NIS History Timeline
NIS Schools is a private institution offering the American, IB, British, and National [English + French] Diplomas. Founded in 1998, NIS Schools has had a strong presence in the educational community in Egypt since its inauguration. Our schools are currently located in Nasr City, 1st Settlement, Sherouk, Port Said, New Capital, and 6th October areas of Egypt. A current expansion process is underway to open two more schools by 2025. Our unique infrastructure houses grades K-12, separated into divisions, respective to each school system. For example, the American School is divided into: Early Years (Pre-K, K1, K2), Elementary (1-5), Middle School (6-8) and High School (9-12). Presently, our student enrollment is nearing 13000+ students. All branches of NIS Schools are accredited by Cognia under corporate status, and the Egyptian Ministry of Education. British Schools are accredited by Cambridge, EdExcel, iPearson, and Oxford. The two branches [1st Settlement and Sherouk] of NIS Schools that offer the International Baccalaureate are accredited by the IBO. To date, NIS Schools are the only educational institutions in the Middle East that are members of the Christensen Institute [The Blended Learning Universe].
